Hi, I'm David Bull, founder of Atlantis Pools. I have been involved in the cleaning and maintenance of swimming pools and spas for over 30 years. During this time I've learnt many effective techniques for ensuring pools and spas remain in a pristine and safe condition. As a result, I've also built a very successful, profitable business, delivering a level of expertise and service that my clients equally appreciate.

My unique Pool Technician Training Course is designed to help those keen to learn about how to clean, maintain and repair pools and spas to a high standard. They also provide guidance on how to effectively develop a pool care business. Existing contractors may also benefit from attending this course.

The aim is to get you properly set up as a self-employed pool & spa Maintenance Technician by learning all there is to know about every aspect of the business; technical, administrative, marketing.

Course Information

What you'll learn

The course will provide tuition in a range of techniques and methods for cleaning and regular maintenance. Problem solving, the correct application of chemicals and effective use of equipment will all be covered in detail. Marketing, custiomer service and administration of a contract portfolio will also feature.

How you'll learn

The course is delivered on a one to one basis and our approach is very much focused on learning in the field. The basics will be covered during some brief classroom style sessions but the majority of the tuition will be carried out in live situations, as part of regular service visits.

Location

Atlantis Pools operates in the Kent and Surrey area, with a base just outside Sevenoaks. We are easily accessible from the M25 and M26. There is a regular train service to Sevenoaks station from London CHaring Cross and Blackfriars.

Duration and cost

The course is delivered over approximately 60 hours of on the job training, with ongoing support for the following 3 months. The cost of the course is £2,500 plus VAT. A deposit of £500 is payable on booking, with the balance due 5 days before the date the course commences.
